# Monument Puzzles: Advanced Red Solutions – playrustic.gg

Red puzzles are the top tier in Rust, and that's exactly why the loot behind them hits so hard. If you've made it this far, you already know what's waiting: elite crates, military crates, and a pile of high-tier loot ready to be grabbed. In this guide we'll walk you through, step by step, how to crack the red puzzles at Military Tunnels and Launch Site.

## How do you get a red keycard?

Red cards only drop from completed Medium Blue puzzles. Unlike blue cards, you can't buy them at Outpost — the only way to grab one on the market is if another player is selling theirs at a vending machine. If you haven't cleared any Blue puzzles yet, check out our Medium Blue Puzzles guide first before jumping into this one.

Now let's head into the tunnels and silos.

## Military Tunnels – Red Puzzle

### What to bring

- Electric Fuse

- Green Keycard

- Blue Keycard

- Red Keycard

- A decent weapon — Scientists patrol here and they won't negotiate

**Rad protection:** at least 25 rad protection.

### The reward behind the red door

- 3x Elite Crate

- 2x Military Crate

- 2x Normal Crate

### How to run it

1. Go in through the right door at the main entrance.

2. Stay right until you see the door marked "Armory."

3. Keep going down the hall — the first room on the right has a fusebox with a timer. Install the fuse and hit the switch.

4. Head back and follow the tunnel as it curves right.

5. On the left there's a hole in the fence — squeeze through and go left.

6. Cross the tracks to the "Storage" door and swipe your green card.

7. Turn right and flip the switch inside the "Laboratory."

8. Head out and go left toward the core center.

9. The cart in the middle holds the elite crates — grab them.

10. Leave the cart and head right.

11. Keep going straight until you spot the blue "Laboratory" door on your right.

12. Behind it sits the red door with a short timer — every second counts here.

13. Get into the main loot room and clean it out.

14. Take the quick exit on your left to get out.

**Playrustic tip:** The timer behind the blue door is tight — mentally run through the route before you flip the switch so you're not stuck waiting on door loading screens mid-run.

## Launch Site – Red Puzzle

### What to bring

- 2x Electric Fuse

- Green Keycard

- Red Keycard

**Rad protection:** 25 rad protection is enough for the outside switches. For the trip through the main building though, you'll need a full rad suit **plus** a water jerry can.

### The reward behind the red door

- 2x Elite Crate

- 2x Military Crate

- 2x Normal Crate

### How to run it

1. Head to the green building marked "011."

2. Flip the switch inside.

3. Walk past the rocket to the stone building with the metal ramp.

4. Go down the stairs, into the room on the left, flip that switch.

5. Head to the scaffolding and drop through the hole.

6. Jump across to the ledge on the other side.

7. Activate the timer and go through the doorway.

8. Jump across the beams to the opposite side.

9. Press the red button.

10. Grab the loot, then press the other button to exit.

11. Head to the green door at the small building near the three silos.

12. Install the fuse in the fusebox and flip the switch.

13. Move to the other side of the building near the two blue containers.

14. Inside that door: install the fuse, flip the switch.

15. Head out and go right into the red door of the large building.

16. Climb up to grab the loot — flip the switch in the room to exit.

**Playrustic tip:** The beam jump (step 8) is where most people fall to their death. Take a second to actually look at the beams before you jump — a fall from up there hurts.

## Wrap-up

Neither of these red puzzles is beginner-friendly — between timers, Scientists, and fall damage, you need to stay sharp. But the elite and military crates almost always make it worth the trip, especially if you're running solo or duo and want fast access to high-tier loot.
